As I am sure you all know...all the while that the good folks at Elecraft have been shipping out these first 100 K3s, their manufacturing operation (in house and outside assemblers) have been cranking out boards and modules and filters, etc. It is decidedly NOT a serial operation until the testing/packing phase arrives.

The net result is that they likely have a large pile of boards now in house being tested and packed for shipping......they have already told us they are hiring staff to test and perform the other necessary functions in order to satisfy our K3-lust.

While I have greatly lowered my expectations of when my K3 is likely to arrive, I am confident that the pace of deliveries will significantly increase over the next few weeks.

Meanwhile...I am sure enjoying the assembly pictures being provided...thanks to all who have done so. The vicarious experience is better than nothing right now!

My wife thinks the whole lot of us are just a bit off kilter...........could she be right?

Enjoy and Happy Thanksgiving Day to all

It is always fun to speculate;

So this might be the cut off date for the 1st run?

As a deposit would get you into the first 200, this would indicate that the
first 200 should go out the door this week which seems a little optimistic.
Or there were never 200 prepaid.

Just my speculations... :)
