"I am not having success with the Firmware Upload process." Ah-ha, I got it....I had not 'manually' created the file folder "firmware". I went to the Elecraft ftp site and copied the files directly to my 'new' folder, and then all was right in the K3 utility program. Yes, Yes, it was in the trouble-shooting section!!
