I think the best overall ProSet is the single-element HC5. The HC4 element is good for busting pileups, but you should be able to make an HC5 sound like an HC4 by judicious adjustment of the K3 TX equalization. For this same reason, I don't think the ProSet that contains both HC4 and HC5 elements with a small switch is necessary either. I have had many unsolicited "great audio" comments using my HC5 ProSet with a Kenwood transmitter.

On the K3, can you switch between two TX equalization profiles with a single knob-tap or similar?
