There has been so much said about the Kenwood mike pinout for the K3 (especially pins 5 and 6). I would appreciate information on using the Heil CC-1K8 cable with the GM-5 mike. Is the CC-1K8 (red) cable compatable with the K3 mike connector using the GM-5 mike without changing the Heil connector pinout? Thanks.
