Okay. Outlook just calls it "plain text" (no formatting for lines or fonts). It's a VERY common format and generally preferred since it allows the reader's computer do the wrapping.
Looking at the QTH.NET archives, I see the same thing, but it's no longer the same format the e-mail sender posted. It's been converted and formatted in HTML for display in a web browser. QTH.NET needs to fix how Mailman converts text to display in HTML with their browser frame. Ron AC7AC -----Original Message----- What Fred is referring to is the display on-line at "Mailman". I complained about the same thing a few days ago but might as well save my fingers, it is caused by posting e-mails in "Preformat" or whatever various e-mail programs call it. Using "Body Text" cures the problem! 73 Dave, G4AON --------------------- By golly Fred, that message displayed just fine here, either in MS Outlook or using a simple text reader like Notepad. Ron AC7AC -----Original Message----- Larry WD4MBE You reflector post - is like 5 lines, and each line is a couple hundred characters wide. It makes for very poor email posting. Do you send you normal emails to friends, like this?
