Hi All
I have K3 #168 mounted /M in my 18 wheeler and with all the noise in the
cab,and my less than perfect hearing its a struggle for me to hear my
sidetone. If improvements could be made to incease volume it would be a
great help to me as I'm CW 95% of the time.
Thats the only complaint I have with the K3 other than the fact of why did
it not come out years out ;-)

If this has been discussed on the reflector, I missed it. I've been
pretty much on the run over the holidays, and haven't really been reading
the posts as completely as I should.
The last couple of up firmware updates made a significant change to the
high side volume level for the sidetone. Previously, you could go up to
"60",
