If a really low power DSP could be made for the K1 and/or KX1 - say, one
that consumes 10 to 15 mA from a nominal 6V supply, less from a higher
voltage - which features would you be seeking?
I have both of those rigs and like them a lot but don't really think either
are DSP-worthy, given how and where the rigs were designed to be used. The
bandwidth controls on them are perfectly matched to the rig's other
capabilities. Adding DSP to them would be sort of like buying 3rd party
leather seats for a Geo Metro.
