Hello,
Found the problem, as I strongly suspected, it was a mistake on my part. On
page 42 it says to install a "100 uH choke at RFC2 and RFC5". I did not read
the complete sentence and only installed the choke at RFC2.
Thanks for the help.
Best,

Subject: [Elecraft] K1 trouble shooting question
Hello,
While waiting on my K3, I decided to order and put together a K1. The
whole procedure went great. The receiver worked great and the alignment
went smooth. After I installed the transmitter parts, there is no receive.
First I'm going to check for wrong parts, cold solder joint etc. Looking
at the schematic drawings, the receive signal path goes through D10, D11
and D12 which were all installed during the transmitter parts installation
section.
Does anyone have any other suggestions/ideas?
Best,
