I am currently travelling in the U.S., and will be taking my long-awaited K3
back with me to Munich.
I had it shipped to an old friend in Jupiter, FL, where I plan to assemble
it at his house when I arrive there next week. The exact assembly dates will
be the 5th and 6th, before heading to the Orlando hamfest Friday and
Saturday. Since I will be on vacation next week, what better thing could I
possibly do with my time in Florida? ;-)
The problem is that he doesn't have an HF antenna or even a dummy load, so I
would like to find a QTH where I can complete the final allignment and
testing on Thursday the 6th. If someone on the reflector in that area has
the time and interest that day or evening, please drop me a note off the
reflector at dj0qn(at)arrl(dot)net. I would appreciate it!
