With just under four hours... and a hunk of wire... and a really really good radio... it is off the stir up the ether with a whole 5 watts.. and I did... stir that is.. with the temp outside all of 20 with 40 mph wind, and the prop gods working well, not to mention the K2 doing it rather nicely... it was a whole lot of fun....first realizing that now I could hear... and seemingly better than most of the big guns... sidle up really close... no I mean really really close... to folks like K1TTT and K1EA, big gun ... maybe even huge guns.. a couple 5s, a couple 6s, and ... and without whimpering.. melting... or popping, clicking, or crashing to no end... the K2 un fazed by the BIG signals... just continued to work.. and work... to make a long story short... the antennas proved out... they work.... from 160 through 15... easily, with a booost from the wind.. the feedlines moving and shaking.. but the signals were solid, from 36 countries, and 48 Q... not the biggest score.. nor the highest country count... however, with only 5 watts... and 4 hours? How can one measure that much fun? So.. I hope you don't mind...
