Steve, If the torroid is rubbing against the standoff and you cannot "gently" adjust the torroid so that it is not touching, place a piece of heatshring tubing over the standoff. Touching is not a problem provided there is no wearing of the enamal on the torroid. Putting the heatshring over the standoff will avoid any problem even if the enamal is worn.
