The socket below the VFO dial is for an In-Circuit Debugger (ICD), used for
development and diagnostic purposes.

The RS-232 connector's DTR and RTS may be used for PTT and CW keying.  See
"PTT and Keying" on page 18 of the K3 Owner's reference manual. These lines
are input to the K3.

Also, the RS232 jack has wires for RTS and DTR. Are these going to (can
they) be enabled to indicate "Squelch," etc.?
