I don't know why anyone takes any notice of eHam reviews. People post them five minutes after they have got their new toy, and they are either still over the moon about it and give it 5 out of 5, or else they couldn't figure out how to make it work and slag it off as a heap of junk. You rarely find anyone posting a considered opinion after they have used something for a few months.
Frankly I don't know how anyone can justify giving 5 out of 5 to a radio that still lacks major capabilities like FM TX/RX and dual RX, not to mention the various minor issues that people have found and asked to be improved on. Something deserves 5 out of 5 if it is the best in every respect. One day soon hopefully the K3 will meet that expectation, but it isn't there yet. ----- Julian, G4ILO K3 s/n: 222 K2 s/n: 392 G4ILO's Shack: www.g4ilo.com Zerobeat Ham Forums: www.zerobeat.net/smf -- View this message in context: http://www.nabble.com/Lates-eHam-reviews-tp15900850p15902137.html Sent from the Elecraft mailing list archive at Nabble.com. _______________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Post to: [email protected] You must be a subscriber to post to the list.
