As Wayne has repeatedly stated, the K3 shows the audio bandwidth - not the RF bandwidth. Since the AM mode does not support VSB (vestigial side band) or ISB (independent side band) the reporting is consistent. I would very much like to see the K3 support VSB-U and VSB-L (offset the display/carrier to the lower/upper -6dB points of the filter respectively and demodulate only the one sideband). That provide enhanced fidelity and the opportunity to eliminate QRM from one side or the other. With DSP demodulation it should be relatively easy to implement. 73, ...
