Probably not harmful, but it just seems that it would not look "first rate" in a first rate rig. How much of a pain could it be to have a fix for this by providing something as simple as what Doug has done. Maybe in future boards there could be a hole placed in the FP board to match the one in the frame, and a non-conducting standoff and a couple of screws could be added to the kit. Would that be such a big deal? For the rest of us, a mod kit in K2 fashion.
