LOOSE PHONES JACK AND WASHER RESOLVED! I removed the left side panel to see what's up. So there is a very small gap due to slight bowing forward of the front panel. Again I could squeeze it shut with my fingers and re-tighten the nut, but that's not adequate. Lacking a hex nut, I placed cloth over the round nut and tightened it carefully with pliers. It's fine for now.
Why not simply supply a hex nut and flat washer? It would make it safe, easy and secure.
