A word from the wise regarding firmware upgrades. "Be not the first to accept the new or the last to reject the old."
These words sure saved me hours and days of grief in my years of big mainframe computer management. More than once I have seen supposedly simple upgrades in software cause big problems that never showed up in vendor testing. So my suggestion is to look, listen, wait, and then carefully make a decision of when to upgrade to new firmware.
