Thanks for the reply Ed. I have not yet installed the KPA3. The Installation Manual calls for a low power test prior to installing the KPA3. I have not been able complete this test so far :-( Page 51 of the Owner's Manual requires the setting of PA NOR only if the KPA3 is installed. The same paragraph also refers to a KPAIO3 transition PC board but I can find no mention of this item on the Elecraft web site.
