Steve,
The RF gain control is presently calibrated only for the DSP's internal
gain curve. I have a task on my firmware list to calibrate the hardware
portion of the curve, which can vary from rig to rig. This will
eliminate the problem you mentioned with RF GAIN CCW rotation.
