I am still having trouble with the rather low audio level of the side tone and spot tone in the CW mode on my new K-3. The other day I received an e-mail from a list member who suggested that those levels could be adjusted by using a config menu entry which specifically controlled and adjusted the side tone level. Try as I might I have yet to locate that entry. That may be because I am not very good at finding such things for some unknown reason. I have now installed version 1.96b firmware.
Does anybody know how I can adjust the audio level of both the side tone and spot tone? Eager ears are waiting to know.
