Hi Jack: I noticed while hooking up my laptop running WinXP SP3 and utilizing the Keyspan 4-port adapter, that running N3FJP's FD software, I could not get the rig interface to take. I tried different baud, stop bits, everything. It just would not work. CW keying was excellent. Well I tried other software on the laptop such as MixW and it also would not work with its CAT.
Well I tried a different serial cable and then a USBGear USB adapter and nothing worked for rig interface. I took it to straight serial connection and it worked right away. I've got a Vista laptop to try and I'm going to load those Keyspan drivers and see what happens. Disappointing. 73, Jamie WB4YDL -----Original Message----- From: Jack Brindle [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Friday, May 23, 2008 5:20 PM To: James C. What are the symptoms, what were you trying to do, and what happened? And, of course, what OS and drivers do you have? On May 23, 2008, at 3:12 PM, James C.
