The same description applies to the Yaesu FT-920, FT-950, FT-990, FT-1000D, FT-1000MP, Mark V, FT-2000, FTdx9000, etc. The number of "last used" frequencies on a given band may differ (two in the early radios, three or even four in the later ones) but the operation is consistent. The key are dedicated "band select" buttons that allow random access (direct switching) selection with the ability to choose alternate saved frequencies (generally, on the other modes) with successive presses of the specific band button. 73, ...
