Fellow Elecraftorians:
Some weeks back I recall a post here that the K3 6-meter performance did not seem to be up to par with its HF band performance as well as that of some of the other HF thru 6 rigs on the market, and there was some related discussion regarding a future accessory receive pre-amp for six. If I recall correctly, Wayne or Eric popped in to state the reason for the difference in performance, so it was, apparently, a documented situation. I have searched for the specific posts with no avail. But it leads me to ask whether I should hang on to my XV-50 transverter (which I had planned to sell) or use it with my K3 for its improved performance. Has anyone done this?
