The K1 can remember settings for 6 bands, so you can use the 2 band
board to fill in any gaps that your 4 band board does not cover. If

with the 4 band board.
Band kits for the 2 band board are available from Elecraft, so you can
change the bands covered, you are not slaved to the bands currently
installed on that board.
