It sounds like you may have a spurious oscillation problem inside the box. A spur can drain a high level of power, be off frequency, destroy finals, etc. The power on one band and none on the other sounds like you may have a component misplaced or wrong value - including the tuning of the coil. Another possibility is a bad solder joint so a critical capacitor value is not being seen. I suggest doing a real thorough visual on both sides of the board and maybe a touch up on all the solder joints on those bands. Al WA6VNN In a message dated 6/27/2008 12:27:19 A.M.
