Only if you ask that it be required.
With the good tracking tools available with UPS, I really don't
understand why anyone would want to require a signature on delivery -
especially for delivery to a residence since there is always a chance
that no one would be home when the UPS man arrives. Take my situation
as an example - the UPS man usually arrives around 12:30. If the XYL
and I have chosen to go out for lunch that day, I would miss the
delivery and it would be delayed until the next day. Yes, we receive
frequent UPS shipments, maybe an average of 3 per week.
