I don't see this with Logger32 ..... But I had to add some lines to the .ini file so the program would change the filter to what I specified - 700 Hz on CW, 2.7 KHz on SSB and 1.0 KHz on Data. If the program does not tell the K3 how to set the filter when you change band and / or mode it will revert to the previous mode and you have to use NORM. At least with the current firmware!

Hi friends,

I am posting this message to the Elecraft, microHAM and DXLab lists,
because all three are involved. Sorry for crossposting. Anyway, it
probably won't appear in the Elecraft list, because this list
considers
me as a spammer (?).

Say i'm listening to CW on my K3, and see a interesting spot on
Spotcollector. I click on it, Commander and my microKEYER
will QSY the
K3 to the spot frequency.

However, i usually end up in SSB with the previous filter setting, ie
the narrow CW filter, and of course it's not enough for SSB.
Of course,
i only have to press the "NORM" button to broaden it, but
it's annoying.

I don't have the same problem when QSYing from SSB to CW (the
width is
reduced as it should).

Has anyone the same problem ? Any advice ?
