my "lin out" is set to nor 025 and the
MK2r "recording/ digital" controls on the bottom right front panel
are set about 12 high....
and all my apps have great audio input....

Audio is simultaneously available at front and rear headphone jacks,
and at the LINE OUT jack. Nothing special need be done.
CONFIG:LIN OUT and sets the LINE OUT level (nor 10, for
example). You can safely insert headphones into the LINE OUT jack
and verify there is audio coming out. It will probably be low in
level, but present. To keep distortion to a minimum, use a level of
10 or less when feeding the sound card input.
Remember LINE OUT on the K3 is receiver audio from the K3 to the PC
and should go to the LINE IN connector on the PC soundcard. LINE IN
is transmit audio to the K3 and should come from LINE OUT on the PC.
If there is no audio at the K3's LINE OUT connector, even with the
level set quite high (50, for example), email k3support. If there
is audio, then the problem is not in the K3.
