Are your power supply and the connections to that supply adequate? Monitor the supply voltage (using the K3 display) to see what happens when you press
Tune. I'm guessing that the voltage may be dropping.

Subject: [Elecraft] K3 switches off during high power TX gain calibration

Hi All

I finaly had my K3 working after five weeks and several replacement boards
at 10 watts. I just installed the 100 PA. I'm up to do the high power TX
Gain calibration

Started on 160, wich was ok. But have trouble on 60, 30 and 6m. When I press
tune, the radio switches off it self.

Any one else had this problem? Any info is welcome

It sure takes a long time this way to get the K3 working received it 5 weeks
ago, and still not finished
