Yes, moving RIT with the shift keys is handy too, but I've accidentally shifted RIT with them active like that, so I personally prefer to use the radio knob. The shift keys allow your hands to stay on the keyboard, though. As for clearing RIT, I much prefer that the messages do that. Most loggers have a command that can be inserted in messages for RIT clear.
