I must have inadvertently changed a setting because I'm having trouble transmitting. My last contacts were FB during a contest a few weeks back. Same up-to-date firmware, no changes. Now when I start talking with the VOX settings on my MD-2 mic ( set for "fpl bias" when I checked the settings in the MIC SEL Main menu) I get a full carrier out with no modulation and I can no longer hear my voice being transmitted, only a loud hissing noise keeps transmitting even though I've stopped talking on VOX. Any suggestions? I reloaded the firmware twice with no change. I'm sure I'll feel silly when I figure this out :-) 73 Paul w9bbr
