What Dick mentioned is entirely true in my experience, but I might add that the condition should be corrected promptly. The fact that the connector is loose also says that there is a marginal electrical contact that is prone to arcing and heating, and in the extreme could cause a fire to develop. For your own safety as well as the health of your K3, correct it promptly.
