I am having some of the usual "dirty contact" issues with the 3.5 mm plugs....reaching back and twisting the plug in the socket restores normal operation.
I've seen this (as I a msure everyone else has) on lots of plugs with nickel (?) plating since that became the rage. Makes me long for the days of silver-plated everything......oh well.
