This is my personal 2465B that I am selling because I have an 11302a that (as
long as I don't have to lift it) provides the same utility as the 2465B. The
2465B is a 4 channel, 400 MHz scope that many believe is the acme of analog
portable scopes. I have placed photographs of the scope at
ftp://ashcraftfamily.net.

A few things about this particular scope. This was last officially calibrated
on 5/18/2005. However, I have a Tektronix CG5011 calibration generator and I
am including photographs of a fast rise signal on channels 1 & 2 and a
photograph of the timing output. The fast rise signal tells you that the
vertical amps are running slightly better than spec. As a rule of thumb,
0.35/rise time gives you the scope bandwidth. Here, without considering the
rise time of the signal itself, this calculates to about 416MHz, which means
that the scope is conservatively rated. I have also checked the bandwidth
using a Tektronix SG5030 leveled sine wave generator and obtained similar
results and have the checked the vertical accuracy, as well. The fast rise
signal is at the fastest sweep using 10x magnification, which also shows that
the trace is good. The time mark photograph shows that the horizontal timing is
very accurate, also.

Because I was planning on keeping this scope, I overhauled the power supply
(about a year ago), replaced virtually all of the electrolytic capacitors and
upgraded one of the bridge rectifiers. I then readjusted the supply and went
through most of the performance checks and adjustments for the scope. The
upshot is that I am quite confident that everything is working properly.

I am including 2 P6137 Tektronix probes with hooks and grounding leads. These
are the probes spec'd for this scope. One of the probes is missing a plastic
"wing" that is on the side of the plastic collar around the bnc connection, but
this has no effect on functionality. The scope has a probe pouch attached and
I have an original manual and a .pdf of the service manual.

I am asking $650 for the above, plus actual shipping plus $15 for shipping
materials. If you can pick up in Alameda, I also have a scope cart (seen in
the photographs) that I will add for an additional $20.
