K3 serial number 2050 (kit - ATU, 100W, Gen Cov) was waiting for me on
the front porch this afternoon. After lurking for a year, I finally
ordered in August. I look forward to putting it together over the
next few weeks, when I can pull together a couple of time chunks.
One simple question. I have a Yaesu MD-100 Desktop Microphone. I would
like to keep it for the K3. I had whipped up a box to break out the 8-
pin output to a Mic signal and a PTT signal cable for previously. Are
their any gotchas I can expect when hooking up or using? If any other
MD-100 users, what are good starting settings on the K3 for this
Microphone?
