If you have a phillips head screw just getting ready to strip out on you, just 
put a touch of valve lapping compound on your screwdriver. The grit will give a 
little extra grip to help prevent slippage. Works great, but finding valve 
lapping compound is a bit hard these days. I drive a Plymouth with a flathead, 
so it's in my shop.
