You should be able to change it from both....I just tried it and it
worked fine from both BSEt and using the RX ANt button.

Thanks to all people who responded on and off-list to my questions.
I've looked at the K3 schematics and have come to the conclusion
that the problem most probably is that the digital signal driving
the subreceiver's MAIN/AUX relay isn't arriving at the subreceiver.
I'm going to check the subin ans subout boards to see whether all
pins are connected okay.
