This question seems to be the one asked more than any other on this
reflector. See the manual page 46 for "Transmit Crystal Filter
Selection (per-mode)"
ERR TXF indicates that you do not have the correct transmit filter
configured. The TX filter for CW must be the 2.7 or 2.8 kHz filter (SSB
too).
You can use the menu to set the transmit filter for each mode, or use
the K3 Utility to do it for you.
The transmit filter must be set for each mode - to do it in the menu, go
to CONFIG: FLTX - tap the mode switch to check the filter for each mode
- if it is not correct, use the VFO A knob to change it.

I just got the Bencher paddles as a gift and I'm trying it on the air. At
first it was working and I wired it up right but there was no reading on the
RF. Then I hit something by accident in the menu and can't figure out what
it is. I'd tried finding ERR TXF in the menu but maybe I am over looking
something else. What is happening now is I get this message ERR TXF. It
sends a tone one time and then goes into this ERR TXF. Nothing happens after
that. The 1/4 inch plug is plugged into the slot that says paddle on the
back of the radio. The second problem once the first one is solved is how
do I get it to show the wattage going out. No matter how how high I
increased the power, I show no RF reading on the meter.
