Tap the MODE switch (2nd down from the top, extreme left of front panel) until CW is displayed on the extreme right side of the LCD.
Then HOLD the left side of the BAND switch (extreme, top left of the front panel) until you see VOX displayed on the LCD (about 1/2 down the LCD under the "R" in Elecraft). de Doug KR2Q -- An eye for an eye makes the whole world blind.
