This issue is also impacted by how well the cover fits over the rcvr board. I had to fiddle with mine a bit and file off some misplaced nubs on the circuit board in order to get the top and bottom sheet metal parts to snap together properly. If the top cover isn't positioned correctly it will hold the screw head too high to mate with the stand-offs. The form, fit, and finish of the rest of the radio is close to perfect but that wrap around cover took a lot of extra care before I finally got mine to fit right.
