The base K2 kit is complete. It took almost a year with things like family,
work, and life getting in the way. :-)

Here are some of my rambling notes as I went along.

Overall the build went pretty well. I did have a couple of snags that
consumed some serious debug time. It is amazing how much more I know now
about the K2 and electrical theory than I did when I started this kit. Talk
about a very worth while experience.

I have a SSB and ATU kit sitting on my bench. I also plan on ordering the
Transverter, 160m, and RS232 option kits in 2009 to round out my K2.

The K2 will be initially used to drive my VHF/UHF transverters in addition
to being used for Field Day and FYBO (actually out in the middle of no where
someplace.) Over time I plan to change my station integration and the K2
will probably take over some of the HF role as well.

Thanks to Scott, Gary, and Don for their help in debugging my snags.

I plan to order/purchase a KX1 and K3 as time and finances permit as I have
really enjoyed the Elecraft experience.
