if you have vista or xp set for "automatic updates" it will only do the critical updates.
you need to do a manual update and when you get the windowsupdate page click on "custom" updates. that will take you to a page where other things are available for downloading and updating. you will likely find your usb driver there. 73 jim ab3cv
