Hi, I'm working on the assembly for S/N 5684. I don't appear to have the SMT1A replacement board for U12, but I have the DIP MC1350.
Should I request a replacement part for this non-RoHS part, or just go ahead and stuff this DIP? I assume they perform the same function, but just wanted to make sure there isn't some other reason to replace the part with the SMT1A board.
