Tom, I am curious how you are communicating with your K3. Are you using a USB/serial converter? Make sure you don't have anything else in the chain of communication, then try it again. I had a similar problem in the past. Also, if you are use a USB converter, make sure the drivers are up to date. Feel free to contact me off the list for further q's. my call @charter.net
