Brett, Unlike the K2, the K3 keying and the PTT are separate. It is PTT (only) that currently stops DVR playback, and VOX de-activation is a coming attraction. I am certain Wayne and Lyle will consider your request that a key tap will terminate DVR palyback, but I cannot speak for their response.
