The Yaesu band data connector on the back of the 1.5KFx is really a 6-pin DIN connector. They only use 5 of the pins (the center pin is not connected to anything). So you can use the expensive 5-pin 240-degree DIN, or you can use the cheap 6-pin DIN (Mouser part number 71-0276 @ 66-cents).
