Hello group, a friend of mine has a strange problem with his tx power after upgrading to firmware 3.03. However I couldn't reproduce it with my K3 (also 3.03) so I'm asking here.
Following test: QRG 3,67 MHz LSB, no ATU, SWR 1:1,2 whistle to the microphone (Heil) TX pwr max about 80 W Tap xmit, pwr=120 W, again whistle to the mic, now also 120 W. Now it is ok until you change the band or power off/on the TRX. Then is starts again with 80 W. About the same with USB. Also the same with ATU. Without PA he has 8 W when whistle, then xmit=12 W, now also 12 W when whistle. ALC about 4-7 bars. A calibration with the utility didn't solved the issue. Any ideas? Many thanks in advance!
