Hi Brian: I tried your method and you know, your right. Mine works the same way. The LAST DATA MODE is not coming back after the change of mode to CW, PWR OFF/ON, and change mode back to DATA and PRESS DATA MD. Mine comes back DATA A , no matter what, also. I don't have an updated MENU TABLE so I'm not sure if there is a setting for saving DATA MODES. I'll stay tuned to see what we are doing wrong.
