NI0C: > If I understand the Help file correctly, a vertical line character at the end of a memory entry will force the K3 to immediately stop transmitting, thus bypassing any CW Delay selected by the front panel knob.
> However, I just tried it and it doesn't seem to work that way. The vertical line character seems to be simply ignored. What am I missing here? The prosign IM (| on a computer keyboard above \ or in CW "di-di-dah-dah") was originally added for RTTY memories to truncate the 4 second RTTY diddle at the end of messages. Prior to the K3 Utility change, the only way to enter the IM prosign was via a CW paddle input. I could be wrong but I don't believe the prosign IM serves any function in CW mode and is simply ignored (as you stated). 73, Bill W4ZV -- View this message in context: http://n2.nabble.com/K3-Edit-CW-Memories-tp2664125p2664306.html Sent from the Elecraft mailing list archive at Nabble.com. ______________________________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/elecraft Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:[email protected] This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html
