Band noise is filtered three times before it gets to the AF amp: at the crystal filter, the DSP I.F. filter, and the DSP A.F. filter. It is most definitely "pink" by the time you hear it. However, it seems that we have some customers with such good hearing that they could benefit from additional rolloff at the output of the DAC driving the AF amp. Lyle and I are exploring ways to do this. We've added you to the short list to test anything we might come up with. 73, Wayne N6KR --- http://www.elecraft.com ______________________________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/elecraft Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:[email protected] This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html
